About Seasonal Supper Club

The first rule of Supper Club is that we don’t talk about Supper Club. Just kidding—the truth is we won’t stop talking about Supper Club. This isn’t your average community potluck. It’s where you’ll meet the farmers behind your favorite market finds, swap recipes with fellow food enthusiasts, and become part of a community that’s shaping Boulder County’s food future. Whether you’re a seasoned home chef or an hungry beginner, you’ll find yourself among friends who share your passion for local food.

About Seasonal Supper Club

How it Works

Each season, we spotlight one local ingredient and challenge our Supper Club to bring their most creative dishes to the table. We invite local farmers, ranchers, and entreprenuers to share their expertise and stories, creating an intimate connection between the food on your plate and the people who grow or make it. Here’s how you can join us:

  1. Purchase a ticket for an upcoming BoCo Seasonal Supper Club event
  2. Prepare a dish to share that highlights our seasonal ingredient
  3. Review our F.A.Q. to get acquainted everything you need to know
  4. Come ready to serve, connect, and be nourished
How it Works

Thursday, August 20: Tomatoes

Toe-may-toes, to-mah-toes: however you say it, this summer’s Supper Club is not one to miss. Nothing signals summer time like the taste of a fresh tomato, fed with healthy soil and ripened to perfection in the sunshine. Whether you’re looking to highlight sweet cherry tomatoes, juicy heirlooms, or whichever variety is taking over your garden, it’s sure to be a delicious spread with the best dinner company in town.

F.A.Q.

To get the most out of your experience, we ask that you bring:

  1. A dish to share, featuring our seasonal ingredient. We recommend anywhere from 6-10 servings, but bring whatever you are able to contribute.
  2. Plates, utensils, and cups. Help us keep this event waste free by bringing your own dinnerware. You might want to add a to-go container to your list, too, to take home any leftovers!
  3. BYOB. Whether you’re a glass of wine at dinner person, an IPA connoisseur, or simply need your water to have a bit of sparkle, we ask that you please bring your own beverage.

In exchange, we’ll provide the venue as well as the promise of good company. 🙂

Supper Club welcomes it’s future farmers and leaders to join us, though we won’t have any kids’ specific programming for the youngins.

This year, we’ve made it simple to mark your calendars for 2026 Supper Club:

  • Winter: 2/19
  • Spring: 5/14
  • Summer: 8/20
  • Fall: 11/12

Supper Club always takes place from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. You can also sign up for email updates using this form or contact Frankie Ryder, Director of Marketing & Development, at fryder@bcfm.org.

The BoCo Seasonal Supper Club was born out of the very ideals it seeks to uphold: neighbors looking to connect over local food. A longtime friend of the market, Annie Brown reached out to Boulder County Farmers Markets with the idea for building community through a Seasonal Supper Club. Today, the club is a collaboration between BCFM, Annie Brown, and Shoshana Romer. It would not be possible without their dedication to cultivating meaningful community spaces and gracious volunteer efforts!

We are always looking for businesses and community centers who can donate space to support Supper Club. Event spaces need to be able to accommodate 50+ guests, and provide enough tables and chairs for everyone. If you have a space that fits the bill, please reach out to hello@bcfm.org.

Companies interested in sponsoring Supper Club with monetary or in-kind donations can reach out to director@bcfm.org to discuss partnership opportunities. We’d love to hear from you!
