Since 1987, the Boulder Farmers Market has been a community institution serving the most fresh, healthy, and locally-sourced food in town. We pride ourselves on putting farmers first, resulting in aisles overflowing with leafy greens, endless radishes, and, of course, Colorado peaches! Located in the heart of Downtown Boulder, the Boulder Farmers Market is a must-stop destination for visitors and longtime residents alike. Whether you’re fueling up for a Buffs game or a hike in the Flatirons, we look forward to seeing you at the farmers market.
We’ll be the first one to tell you that what makes our farmers markets one of the best in the nation is our incredible vendors. From multi-generational fruit orchards who have perfected Palisade peaches, to regenerative ranchers raising humane, climate-focused meats, and up-and-coming chefs serving up fresh eats in the food court, our vendors are leading the charge for the future of farming and local food.
Is it really a farmers market without live music? From foot-stomping bluegrass, sweet acoustic melodies, and smooth jazz, our local musicians provide a fresh twist to your grocery shopping soundtrack. We host local musicians at both our Saturday morning and Wednesday evening farmers markets.
On the second Saturday of every month, we invite local artisans to join the market for the ultimate local shopping experience. Their one-of-a-kind items include everything from artisanal body care products, to handmade clothing items and accessories, jewelry makers, and more. Be sure to mark your calendar for our monthly artisan markets!
The Boulder Farmers Market is such a great way to experience the local community and everything Colorado has to offer.
Best Farmers Market around. Friendly vendors, extremely fresh fruits and veggies and wonderful staff!
Honestly, just about the best shopping that you can do all summer.
The Boulder Farmers Market is an absolute must-visit. Forget your regular grocery run—this is a true celebration of local, fresh food and community spirit!
The farmers market is a great place to taste some great foods grown and prepared here by the locals. It's priced reasonably and they also take the EBT card and it gets you double your money on fresh fruits and vegetables.
I love the variety of vendors. Lots of great options to grab a bite to eat. I bought some heirloom tomato plants at a great price.
Info booth staff are very helpful and friendly. Every vendor I spoke to was very friendly and seemed passionate to talk about their products and provide information. Nice variety of products as well. Some vendors are only there on Wednesdays or Saturdays, so be sure to check out both days! Also ask about the SNAP produce bonus at the info booth if you go on a Wednesday!
Iconic for a reason.
This was so fun! Loads of healthy and organic foods, super friendly people, and lots of samples of things, from apples to cheeses to teas. We were only in Boulder for the day and we were so happy that we stumbled upon this!
Love the Boulder Farmer's Market both Saturday am (busier) and Wednesday afternoon/eve. We've enjoyed going on Wednesdays over the years to shop, then enjoy dinner after at one of the food vendors nearby. Food options are relatively diverse which is appreciated.
