There’s No Longmont Without Agriculture
Long before Longmont was know as a bustling tech center, it was sustained by thousands of acres of farmland — starting with the establishment of a flour mill in 1887, and later with the vegetable cannery built in 1889. These days, Longmont farms provide much more than just sugar beets, and preserved farm land in Longmont and beyond helps fill our market with fresh, seasonal vegetables, dairy products, and Colorado-raised meats. We’re proud to be a growers-only market, meaning every product at the Longmont Farmers Market is created locally and sold by the vendors who produce it.
Our Vendor List
We’re proud to host over 100 local vendors at the Longmont Farmers Market this season. These small, family-owned businesses are the heart of our market, providing fresh groceries, pantry products, and ready-to-eat deliciousness all in one place.
Musician Schedule
Longmont is the home of a lively music scene, and the farmers market is no exception. From dance-worthy drum circles, to string quartets and cover bands, there’s always something delightful to listen to as you shop and eat at the Longmont Farmers Market! Stay tuned (pun intended) for our 2024 musician lineup.
Artisan Markets
On the fourth Saturday of every month, we invite local artisans to join the market for the ultimate local shopping experience. Their one-of-a-kind items include everything from artisanal body care products, to handmade clothing items and accessories, jewelry makers, and more. Be sure to mark your calendar for our monthly artisan markets, a list of our vendors is coming soon!
Free Kids Activities
Through our partnership with Firehouse Arts Center, we host weekly kids crafts at the center of the Longmont Farmers Market. These activities invite learning, imagination, and play to the market, as your little ones get to experience Saturday sunshine and meet the farmers who provide them with fresh, healthy food.
