2019 National Farmers Market Week

In celebration of National Farmers Market Week, we’re giving away a year full of market bucks.*

Share with us your love for BCFM, and our grower’s only promise. We know the community loves the farmers market, but ours is a little different and we want you to put it into words and a “gram” of course. You can win $20 in market buckets every week for a year.

Two chances to share your BCFM love, two chances to win prizes:

#LoveMyMarket

You’ve seen it before, and we’re doing it again. This time with a little emphasis on #growersonly. Grower’s only means everyone selling to you is producing what they sell – no third party owner, no reselling. That’s amazingly local, and its guaranteed 100% Colorado-grown or made. It supports the local economy, nourishes our local lands and weaves a strong community fabric.

Come to info booth pick up “I <3 Farmers Markets” tattoos, and get the creative juices flying. Take a picture with your friends, kids, produce and the use this hashtag on Instagram and tag your market handle (Boulder, Longmont, Denver, Lafayette). This will enter you into our Instagram contest. Tag @farmersmarketcoalition to be entered in the national fun! This year add #growersonly and tell us why growers-only matters to you. Tag one friend, and encourage them to enter too.

Winning entries must have the #LoveMyMarket, #growersonly, a friend tagged and one of our five Instagram handles tagged (@bcfm,@boulderfarmesmarket, @longmontfarmersmarket, @lafayettefarmersmarket or @unionstationmarket).

The most engaging, creative and fun-loving post with an emphasis on growers-only will win $20 in market bucks every week in the 2020 season.*

Growers-only values you can highlight include (of course not limited to):

Trust – Assurance that your fruits, vegetables, and food are locally grown and made, and that you can ask your producers anything you need to know about the food you’re fueling your bodies with.

Relationships – The everlasting bonds you form with your farmers, rancher and food producers. They become like family, and the market becomes a place that you share with your family. Safe and welcoming!

Quality – Fresh picked, field ripened can’t be beaten. A growers-only market is a place where you can expect high quality, nutrient-dense fruits and vegetables.
