How It Works

In a world full of two-day shipping and major grocery chains, it’s hard for local farmers and producers to compete with modern convenience. That’s where we come in. Each week, we take your orders and purchase food directly from our vendors. They then deliver the food to us, which we sort and package before bringing it to four curbside locations throughout Boulder County. You get a variety of products, our farmers get even more sales to support local food, and we get to deliver it with a smile. It’s a win/win/win.

How to Get Started

Before you start filling your cart with fresh-picked produce, locally-raised, pastured eggs and meat, and hand-crafted foods, you’ll need to create an online account with us. From there, you can select your location and start shoppin’!

F.A.Q.

You bet! With the exception of a few holidays, our online market is open to customers throughout the year with in-season, local products. Our vendors rely on year-round purchases to make their businesses profitable, meaning every online order makes a difference for local food!

Everything you’ll find in the our online store is grown, raised or handcrafted in Colorado–most of it right here in Boulder County–and vetted by the Boulder County Farmers Markets team.

Pick from fresh-harvested Boulder County veggies and beans, Western Slope fruit, eggs, beef, pork from pasture-raised animals and even quinoa from southern Colorado! You’ll also find handcrafted prepared foods like pasta, tortillas, chips, salsa, hummus, tzatziki and much more.

If you frequent the Boulder or Longmont Farmers Markets, you’ll recognize the farms, ranchers and foods you find in our store.

Shop our online store, pay with your EBT card at pick up, and receive up to $20 off fruits and veggies each week! Your “Double Up Discount” applies to fresh fruits and veggies (not packaged goods) and will cover half your order up to $20.

To get started, register for an account by clicking here. Select “I will pay using a SNAP CARD when I pick up my order” to access SNAP benefits. When you click on an item in our store, it will display the Double Up Discount logo if it is eligible for the Double Up Discount. You may search for Double Up Discount items by clicking “Attributes” and selecting “Double Up Discount.” To get the most of the double up benefit, at least half your order should be fruits and vegetables. Please do not add any items to your cart that are not SNAP eligible (such as flowers or non-food items). Once you’re done shopping, go to “check out.” The total you see will not necessarily be the amount that will be charged to your EBT card. Press submit (nothing will be charged to your card at this time). You will not be charged the $4.99 pick up fee. It will be waived after your order is confirmed. Your order will be reviewed by our Food Access Specialist to ensure that your order meets guidelines. You will receive a confirmation of the dollar amount owed at pick up from [email protected]. Arrive at the curbside pick up location at the given time. Bring your EBT card and your confirmation email. Collect your items, pay for your order with your EBT card, and enjoy!

Paper coupons may not be used for online purchases. This includes paper SNAP bucks, Double Up Food Bucks, WIC bucks and Veggie bucks. You may use these at our farmers markets in Boulder and Longmont.

If you know you won’t be able to make it to your pick up, The Longmont Social will store your order until the following Monday at noon. Pick it up any time during their business hours (9:00AM to 9:00PM) at your convenience!

Whether you have a question about your order or suggestions for our store, don’t hesitate to get in touch! Email [email protected] and we’ll get back to you as soon as we can.
