Think of it as a Farmers Market sampler, where you’ll receive a wide variety of produce, protein, and handcrafted foods from your favorite local producers weekly. With options for vegetarians, vegans, and local-meat-enthusiasts, the Seasonal Subscription Box is ideal for anyone looking for:
A way to enjoy local food without the hustle and bustle of visiting the farmers market
The ability to “set it and forget it” rather than placing a custom order each week
New, interesting ingredients and products to help break you out of your recipe rut
What You’ll Receive
Our seasonal subscription boxes provide eight weeks of curated groceries ideal for feeding 2-3 people. Enjoy a base of fresh, seasonal produce such as pears, tomatoes, peppers, and more from local farms. For protein, choose the vegetarian option to receive products like local tempeh, eggs, and cheese, the vegan option for local tempeh, beans, and quinoa, or choose the omnivore option for a rotating selection of beef, pork, and lamb from local ranchers. Every Seasonal Subscription Box will include a variety of packaged products that will range from locally-roasted coffee, to flavorful hot sauces, and unique frozen foods. Price and Payment Options
You can get eight weeks of fresh, local groceries for $400 (or $50 per week) before tax. Customers have three payment options to choose from:
Customers who wish to use their SNAP/EBT benefits can purchase our produce-only SNAP share in the online store. Thanks to Double Up Food Bucks, SNAP customers can pay $20 through their EBT cards to receive $40 worth of seasonal produce, which can be paid fully using your EBT card at pickup. Customers who purchase the Seasonal Subscription Box using SNAP will not be able to use Double Up Food Bucks on other online purchases (including the fruit subscription) while receiving the subscription box.
Seasonal Fruit Subscription
In addition to our mixed box, we are also providing the option to purchase a weekly Seasonal Fruit Subscription. With the most fresh picks delivered to us weekly, we can pass along the newest crops – like sweet plums and crisp apples from Paonia – straight to you. The price will be $200 (or $25 per week) for eight weeks, and can be purchased as an add-on to your Seasonal Subscription Box or as a standalone subscription. Curious what $25 of fruit looks like?
