Boulder Farmers Market

While we know it can be hard to snag a parking spot downtown, it doesn’t have to be. There are several free or low-cost parking lots and garages within a walking distance to the Boulder Farmers Market. To help, we’ve created this parking information page that shows nearby parking with fees for both Saturdays and Wednesdays. You can find even more parking resources at boulderparking.com.

It’s also incredibly convenient to bus or bike to the Boulder Farmers Market. Take the Skip Bus to Canyon & Broadway, or take any bus that goes to the Downtown RTD Station and walk directly across the street to the Farmers Market!

Conveniently located off of the Boulder Creek path, there is abundant bike parking at the Boulder Farmers Market. This is made even better this year with a Free Bike Valet in partnership with BikeBoulder and Shared Paths every Saturday all season, starting in May.

Longmont Farmers Market

Parking in Longmont is abundant thanks to the market’s location at the Boulder County Fairgrounds. While there is a big open space to park, be sure to park in a way that is courteous of your neighbors (ie parking in a line, not parking folks in, etc.). Only service animals are permitted at the Boulder and Longmont Farmers Markets. As a provider of fresh food, it’s important that we maintain a clean and healthy environment for all of our shoppers. Thank you for leaving your pets at home!

The Boulder and Longmont Farmers Markets are all-weather markets. This means that they will remain open during inclement weather such as rain or snow. The market will only close for dangerous weather conditions like very close lighting, dangerously high wind, or any conditions that could cause harm to our vendors, staff, or community. The Weather Policy page will be updated with the status of the market in the case of a weather event.

Boulder County Farmers Markets’ Food Hub runs a year-round online market with goodies from many of your favorite market vendors! We launched our online store at the onset of the pandemic so that our hardworking farmers and ranchers could sell their products in a safe environment. What was born out of a public health crisis has evolved into a convenient and accessible year-round online grocery service that distributes groceries weekly in Boulder, Longmont, and Lafayette. Customers can visit this page to learn more about how to create an account and place a custom order with us through the online store.

Plus, at the end of the season in November, ask your favorite local food producers where you can find them throughout the winter. They may sell storage crops to local restaurants or know of other ways for you to stay involved in our local food ecosystem throughout the winter.

We do not sell gift cards for our farmers markets. If you would like to give the gift of local food, we suggest picking up Market Bucks at any of our three weekly markets. A cash equivalent that can be accepted by any vendor at our markets, this is the same as gifting money that can only be used at BCFM farmers markets.

Our booth fees are reviewed annually and set by the BCFM board of directors. See the table below for 2026 fees. Please note that the below dollar amounts are per market.

Applications for Winter Market open annually in August.

We receive hundreds of emails each year from musicians wanting to perform at our markets—and we love hearing that playing at the market is so high on your list! Applications are open until filled each year, but if you miss the deadline, we accept busking requests for the Longmont Farmers Market all season long. Apply here.

Boulder County Farmers Markets operates as a permitted, curated event and is not a designated public forum. Petitioning–even for causes that align with BCFM’s mission–can be disruptive to the market environment and to our vendor operations. Therefore, petitioning is not allowed within the market footprint.  Petitioners may not collect signatures, distribute petition-related materials, or engage in political advocacy inside the event areas. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Collecting signatures for ballot initiatives, referendums or political candidates
• Distributing or promoting petitioning related to legislative advocacy
• Approaching customers or vendors to discuss or promote a petition

Individuals wishing to petition may do so outside the permitted boundaries of the market, in accordance with public space laws.

No, the only vendor categories we accept are food businesses, artisans, and musicians.

This year, we’re reimagining community partnerships at our markets. Rather than our traditional application process, we’re holding this form to reach mission-aligned organizations focused on Boulder County whose work relates to agriculture, local food, healthy eating, environmental issues, or community wellbeing. The interest form will help us explore deeper collaboration opportunities—including co-programming, cross-promotion, and community-building initiatives—beyond simple tabling. Note that submitting the form does not guarantee you a spot in BCFM’s Community Group program- all inquires are assessed on a case-by-case basis. 

Orders can be placed between Friday at 5 p.m. and Monday at 1 p.m. for pickup at the following locations and times:
Boulder: Wednesdays between 4:00 and 6:00 p.m. at Nude Foods
Lafayette: Thursdays in Lafayette between 4:00 and 5:30 p.m. at Sanitas Brewing Company – Lafayette Taproom.
Longmont: Thursdays between 4:00 and 6:00 p.m. at our Food Hub (1821 Lefthand Cir, Unit D, Longmont, CO 80501).

Boxes in good condition can be returned to us at our various distribution sites.

• The Food Hub has the same Colorado, producer-only standards as our Seasonal Farmers Markets.
• Vendor deliveries may be turned away if delivered outside of our receiving hours (Tuesday-Thursday, 9-1 and Mondays between 9 and 1 by appointment), unless otherwise scheduled with ncondon@bcfm.org as an exception.
• All emailed purchase orders must be approved by the vendor no later than 2 business days after being sent (earlier if possible).
• All invoices must be submitted electronically to bookkeeping@bcfm.org with Net 30 terms within 7 days of full delivery.
• Farmers: At least one member of your team should complete the Produce Safety Alliance Growers Training or have an FDA equivalent certification.
• Packaged goods vendors: You must be set-up in a commissary space/kitchen. We are not permitted to resell items produced in home kitchens (i.e. cottage foods).
